Once a Gunner, always a Gunner!

It’s been close to seven years since the former Arsenal captain left the club after a protracted transfer saga saw him join his boyhood club Barcelona in 2011. The manner with which the player moved out of the club left a huge impression on the fans of the club considering he was one of Arsenal’s biggest assets at the time.

After a successful stint at Barca, the player returned to London again but signed for Arsenal's cross-town rivals, Chelsea, after Arsene Wenger declined the opportunity to reunite with him when available. Nonetheless, the 30-year-old Spaniard has availed himself to make a return to Arsenal although he has a different role in sight, this time around.

The Chelsea midfielder was asked by a fan in a Twitter Q&A session as to whether he fancied the idea of coaching Arsenal someday and this, he gave an affirmative reply to.

Well, it turns out the one to dethrone Arsene Wenger has been born after all! Fabregas won an FA Cup and a Communinity Shield in his eight-year spell at Arsenal. He was also part of the squad that lost 2-1 to Barcelona in the 2006 UEFA Champions League Final.
