The Brazilian's deal with Nike and PSG includes a list of bonuses that would make any player dream about joining Les Parisiens.

If there was any doubt on why Neymar joined PSG, the list of perks published today by Brazilian newspaper UOLEsporte confirmed it.

The Brazilian ace's deal with Les Parisiens and their major sponsor, Nike, includes a variety of clauses, which go from bonuses for winning individual and collective trophies, but the biggest perks come from a possible Ballon D'Or win.

If Neymar beats Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to the prize, American apparel giant Nike will have to pay the striker a $1M fee. That amount will increase with each Ballon D'Or win by one million until Neymar reaches four Ballon D'Ors. If such is the case, a fifth trophy would get him $4M.

Neymar became the most expensive player ever with his multi-millionaire transfer from Barcelona to PSG last summer.

But it doesn't end there for the Brazilian ace. His contract with PSG and Nike states that, if he lifts the World Cup title with A Canarinha during his stint with Les Parisiens, Neymar will receive a $50,000 bonus. Furthermore, becoming the tournament's top scorer or winning the Golden Boot this summer could grant him $200,000, according to another clause in his deal.

Neymar undergoes "successful" surgery

Despite PSG's desire to be the only official source of news regarding Neymar's medical procedure, members of the Brazilian press have revealed that the player had a sucessful surgery today at a medical facility in Belo Horizonte.

The doctor for the Brazilian National Team, Rodrigo Lasmar, stated that both medical staffs (PSG and Brazil's) will put together a plan to have Neymar back as soon as possible, even if the initial recovery period could take up to three months.
