Guardiola’s side has received good news ahead of their Wembley clash with Arsenal.

Saturday will hand Pep Guardiola a golden opportunity at winning his first title with Man City. The league leader will lock horns with Arsenal on Sunday in the League Cup final, with this being one of many trophies at stake for the Citizens.

The Etihad side is chasing the treble and thus knows victory over the Gunners is a must if they wish to achieve this goal. Fortunately, their chances of winning have been boosted by the return of two key players.

The first is Raheem Sterling, who had been tipped to miss the weekend clash due to a hamstring injury. However, the Times reports that the Englishman should be in the squad for the Wembley trip.

The other is Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus. The South American has spent a hefty portion of this season on the sideline due to a knee injury, but should be involved in the Arsenal tie.

While Sterling should slot right back into the starting eleven, Jesus is likely to make the bench due to Aguero’s form. Nonetheless, he is an excellent goalscoring option in case Man City needs a Plan B.
