The player has reportedly had a bust-up with the Special One amid speculation of an Old Trafford exit.

According to the Daily Mail, Paul Pogba’s agent is already sounding out other clubs for a potential Man United exit. This is despite the fact that he has more than three years left on his contract.

The reason for this is the Frenchman no longer feels valued at Old Trafford. Currently going through a tough spell, he has seen himself drop to the bench a number of times in the club’s most recent games.

In their Champions League encounter with Sevilla, the former Juventus ace failed to make the starting eleven, with the Special One opting for Scott McTominay in midfield. One might see this as a move to rest Pogba for Sunday’s crucial clash with Chelsea, but many believe there was a falling out between the player and manager.

The Sun claims that Jose told the 24-year-old “I’m the boss” after butting heads on the training ground before holding heated talks with the player in his office. The time of this bust-up wasn’t mentioned, thus raising doubts over the legitimacy of this report, but it is interesting nonetheless.

Pogba feels “harshly treated” by his gaffer. The Frenchman’s frustration could see him walk out of the Theatre of Dreams once again, but his high transfer fee and wages narrow his suitors down to a few elite clubs. Real Madrid has been linked with him, but Los Blancos is prioritizing other players and is thus likely to snub a move.

Furthermore, United and Mourinho will not entertain the thought of selling their record signing only 19 months after his return. Regardless, Pogba’s future in Manchester is becoming more worrying by the day.
