Jupp Heynckes' side eased into the semi-final of the DFB Pokal by blasting six goals past Paderborn.

The rampageous Bundesliga leaders showed no mercy in annihilating Paderborn in their quest to clinching this year’s German Cup. French sensation Kingsley Coman opened the scoring for the Bavarians inside the 19th minute of the first half.

Striker Robert Lewandowski then added the second goal six minutes later with a Joshua Kimmich strike and a Corentin Tolisso header ensuring that there was no glimmer of hope for Steffen Baumgart’s side.

Arjen Robben put the icing on the emphatic win by running the show at the latter part of the game. The Dutchman bagged a brace from the services of substitutes Sebastian Rudy and Arjen Robben on the 86th and 88th minute marks, respectively.

The night's victory was, however, subtly marred by the injury to forward Thomas Muller who was substituted off inside the 32nd minute after being involved in a collision.
