The French top-flight leader dominates the top 10, with Neymar earning more per month than seven players in the bottom 30 earn in a year.

On Tuesday, L’Euipe published a list of the highest-paid players in Ligue 1. It comes as little surprise that the list was dominated by PSG.

However, the manner in which Les Parisiens beat the competition is amazing and shows the financial advantage they have over their rivals. Neymar unsurprisingly comes in at number one, beating out team mates Cavani and Mbappe.

In fact, the Brazilian earns what the Uruguayan and Frenchman make combined. The Selecao ace’s $45.5-a-year salary means he even earns more per month than seven players in the bottom 30 earn every 12 months.

From the top 30 highest earners in the French top-flight, 13 ply their trade at the Parc des Princes. Nine of the top 10 players are from the league leader.

Radamel Falcao of Monaco is the only non-PSG player to make the top 10, coming in at ninth spot. The Colombian earns a relatively modest $11m per year.

After El Tigre, you would have to go down until the 13th spot for the next non-PSG players. Dmitri Payet and Luis Gustavo share this rank with Hatem Ben Arfa of, you guessed it, Paris Saint-Germain with an annual salary of $7.4m.
