The Chilean footballer, who made history by becoming the first footballer from his country to play an official game for Mourinho's men, had an interesting debut with his new team. Sánchez stayed on the pitch for 72 minutes, and had a hand in both goals scored by the Red Devils before being subbed off. Furthermore, he handed out his first assist as a Man United player, as he set up Ander Herrera for the second goal of the evening.
