The Chilean has something to worry about ahead of his possible debut on Friday.

Alexis Sanchez might have finally gotten his Arsenal exit, but his move could now land him in trouble with the FA. The Chilean ace missed an anti-doping test which is a serious offense.

A random group of players were chosen for the anti-doping test which is a normal procedure. The South American attacker was thus expected at the Gunners’ training ground, but was a no-show.

The reason: the 29-year-old was unable to show up as he was elsewhere finalizing his Old Trafford switch. The issue of his work permit forced him to leave north London at that date, but the FA had not been informed of his permitted absence.

The Red Devils, the Gunners, and Sanchez could all be in trouble and must explain this incident in order to escape punishment. Arsenal, however, is hopeful that this whole mess will be brushed aside as a simple administrative error.

As written by Sky Sports, Wenger has shouldered responsibility for Sanchez’s absence. Man United, however, is yet to comment.

Alexis is could make his debut for Mourinho’s side as early as Friday. The South American was included in the Red Devils’ squad for their FA Cup clash with Yeovil, as confirmed by the Special One.
