The Argentinean midfielder will join Hebei Fortune in the Chinese Super League after seven and a half years with Los Blaugranas.

Javier Mascherano said goodbye to Barcelona in an emotional ceremony hosted in one of the Camp Nou's auditoriums earlier today.

With the entire first team in attendance, along with close friends Carles Puyol and Eric Abidal, Mascherano reminisced his seven and a half years with the club. The Argentinean footballer will now continue playing in the Chinese Super League, with his mind set on gettiing to the 2018 World Cup in shape.
