According to reports coming out of Spain, Real Madrid’s interest in Harry Kane is genuine and discreet talks have already begun. DiarioGol reports that the talks are advanced and that the Englishman has even identified the number he wants.
Florentino Perez has identified the Tottenham forward as the ideal target to rejuvenate the Spanish Primera League holder. They sit 16 points behind Barcelona in the table and need to find their goalscoring way if they wish to overcome PSG in the Champions League.
Although there was no mention of an exact fee, the 24-year-old was named the third most valuable player in Europe by CIES and thus will not come cheap. In addition to a high fee, Kane wants to be given the number 10 jersey at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid, who takes on Numancia in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday, can offer him a shot at winning the Champions League. The Merengues will have to test Tottenham with a huge offer if they wish to unite Kane with former Spurs aces Gareth Bale and Luka Modric.
