The Brazilian footballer will finally join Los Blaugranas after a six-month chase and several attempts by the Spanish side to sign him.

Phillippe Coutinho's move to Barcelona has finallly reached a happy ending. All parties involved reached an agreement during Friday, and Los Blaugranas were finally able to announce the signing of their new Brazilian ace.

Barcelona splashed $192M to sign Liverpool's playmaker, who had repeatedly stated his desire to join La Liga's best team this season. With these numbers, Coutinho becomes the second most expensive transfer of all time behind his compatriot Neymar, who left Barcelona to join PSG last summer.

Earlier today, a press release issued on Liverpool's website revealed the agreement between both parties.

Later, Barcelona finally revealed the news to the world via their Twitter feed.

Surprisingly enough, Coutinho hasn't won a single trophy with his club since 2011, when he won the Coppa Italia title with Inter Milan. The player will sign a five-and-a-half year contract. His weekly wage and bonuses remain undisclosed.
