A report out of Spain claims members of Guardiola's backroom staff picked on the Swede before the two teams brawled in the tunnel.

On Sunday, Manchester United and Man City faced off in an exciting Manchester Derby, but the action sadly did not stop at the final whistle. After the Citizens’ 2-1 win, reports emerged of a bust-up in the tunnel between the opposing teams.

An incident that played a part in the brawl was the mockery that Zlatan Ibrahimovic faced from Guardiola’s backroom staff. This is according to Marca, with the Spanish publication writing that the Swede was teased as everyone headed for the changing room.

Zlatan is not a fan of the Spanish tactician, having slammed him publicly several times before due to their falling out at Barcelona. The striker was signed by Pep but was shipped off only after a season after failing to get along with the manager.

Some of Guardiola’s backroom staff from his Camp Nou days have followed him to the Etihad and were present at the weekend derby. Although it remains unknown who they were, Zlatan was reportedly told: “Ibra, you talk a lot but you move a little.”

Later, a brawl broke out between the two clubs, with punches being thrown. Mourinho went over to Man City’s dressing room prior to the brawl to demand respect from the City players but ended in a heated exchange of words with countryman Ederson.

The Special One was then squirted with water, doused in milk, and even had an empty bottle of water thrown at him as he was stepping out of the dressing room. Choas erupted after that, with Man City's assistant Mikel Arteta ending up with a cut to his head.

Both sides are now gearing up for midweek clashes – United hosts Bournemouth while City travels to Swansea – but could face FA bans due to Sunday’s incident. Only time will reveal the punishment that awaits the Manchester duo.
