The world's most expensive player is already being linked with a move away from PSG to Barcelona's eternal rival.

Neymar isn’t even halfway through his first season with PSG, but talks of an exit have been dominating the headlines. Months after breaking the world record transfer fee to leave Barcelona for Ligue 1, rumors claim the player is ready to again jump ship after failing to settle in at the Parc des Princes.

The Brazilian has combined well with Edinson Cavani to tear apart the French top-flight, but a row over a penalty has many believing the South American duo doesn’t get along. Furthermore, the Selecao ace reportedly doesn’t enjoy a good relationship with manager Unai Emery either.

As a result, many have linked the 25-year-old with Los Blancos. Others have speculated that his true desire was a Santiago Bernabeu move, and that the player had to join PSG first as he would not have been able to make the switch from Camp Nou directly.

Neymar has remained quiet over these rumors, refusing to respond to reporters asking him about the rumors after thrashing Celtic in the Champions League. His father, however, has broken the silence.

Speaking to Fox Sports Brasil (as per Marca), Neymar Sr. looked to extinguish the rumors. He said: "How can I answer that? I can't talk about something that doesn't exist.

"How can he go to Real Madrid? What sort of a question is that?"

Although the player’s father’s annoyance was noticeable in his tone, he did not fully shut the door on a Real Madrid move. He admitted that transfer talk with the Champions League holder is something that could happen a few years from now.

"Today we don't have that thought [that Neymar signs for Real Madrid]," he continued.

"Answering that is feeding an idea that is not possible, I simply can't talk about a negotiation that could happen in five or six years time."

"Neymar has a long contract with Paris Saint-Germain and has only just arrived.

"We are three months in and already a move is being talked about.

"It's difficult for people to respond to this type of thing."

Neymar is expected to be in action in Ligue 1 on Wednesday. PSG takes on Troyes, with the Brazilian likely to start after an impressive display in the 2-1 win over Monaco over the weekend.
