Jose Mourinho seemed excited to have all three players back as they want to cut Manchester City's lead short.

It's official: Marcos Rojo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba are back at Manchester United, and Jose Mourinho couldn't be happier.

The Portuguese boss had kind words for each one of them, and although none of them is considered as a starter, at least one of them will be handed the chance to make a comeback at Old Trafford.

Mourinho praised Zlatan's efforts of making it back to help the team, after most sources believed the Swedish ace would never wear Manchester United's colors again.

"You cannot expect him to be ready to play 90 minutes or to be ready to play consecutive matches like he did all his career. Now he needs time to be back to his level, his fitness, his confidence, his sharpness, his everything. But, from the clinical point of view, to be good and ready is fantastic," Mourinho stated in Friday's press conference.

If his words regarding Zlatan's efforts were kind, Paul Pogba has reason to be proud after what his boss had to say about his return.

"You can clearly see Manchester United this season before Paul's injury and after Paul's injury. It's as simple as that," the coach added.

Rojo and Ibrahimovic came down with their respective injuries on April 20 while playing a UEFA Europa League clash against Anderlecht. Paul Pogba hasn't been available for the Red Devils since September 12, and their return to the pitch will come in handy to try and cut Manchester City's eight point lead at the top of the table.
