The Welsh striker was on the verge of making a comeback from an ankle injury, but now he could be out for the rest of the year.

Just when he was about to come back from an ankle injury, Gareth Bale has come down with ANOTHER injury.

Real Madrid revealed via a press release that the footballer left today's training session with pain in his left leg. Later tests confirmed the worst news for Los Blancos' supporters.

"Our player Gareth Bale, who felt some discomfort in his left leg at the end of Thursday's training session, today underwent various tests carried out by the Real Madrid Sanitas medical team. He has been diagnosed with a strain to the middle third of the adductor longus muscle in his left leg. His recovery will continue to be assessed," the press release states.

Bale hasn't played for Los Blancos since September, when he had a relapse from an ankle injury that bothered him for most of the 2016-17 season. Taking this under consideration, fans had mixed reactions reacted to the Welshman's fresh injury.
