Just when he was about to come back from an ankle injury, Gareth Bale has come down with ANOTHER injury.
Real Madrid revealed via a press release that the footballer left today's training session with pain in his left leg. Later tests confirmed the worst news for Los Blancos' supporters.
"Our player Gareth Bale, who felt some discomfort in his left leg at the end of Thursday's training session, today underwent various tests carried out by the Real Madrid Sanitas medical team. He has been diagnosed with a strain to the middle third of the adductor longus muscle in his left leg. His recovery will continue to be assessed," the press release states.
Bale hasn't played for Los Blancos since September, when he had a relapse from an ankle injury that bothered him for most of the 2016-17 season. Taking this under consideration, fans had mixed reactions reacted to the Welshman's fresh injury.
Bale, when fit & firing, is a very influential and important player. But these injuries have ruined the positives he has had on the team. It is unacceptable that a 100-million euro player plays less than half of the team’s matches every season.

Just imagining what's going through Gareth Bale's head right now. Honestly, I feel for him. These injuries might just end his career before time. We all have our obstacles and demons. His is obvious. Stay strong

Only Gareth Bale could get injured while already being injured.

Gareth Bale injured. Starting to get to a point where you have to wonder if he's still worth it when he's only playing 10% of all games in a season.

Bale missed 40 of the last 60 games played by Real Madrid through injury. His new muscular injury will make him miss a minimum of 7 games. [marca] pic.twitter.com/nEa9aXYQSu
