Cristiano Ronaldo's words after Real Madrid's loss against Tottenham raised a few eyebrows, and Sergio Ramos was the first Los Blancos' player to hit back at the Portuguese ace.
Speaking in a press conference after a training session with the Spanish National Team, Ramos shared his views on CR7's words, and one can tell that the Portuguese striker's words didn't go down well among those in the locker room.
"Yes, our squad has changed, but those who arrived have a different role than the ones who left. I disagree with Cristiano about our squad not being as strong as it was, I think his view is a bit advantageous. No one missed those who left when we won the Super Cups. At least I don't miss any of those players who left," Ramos stated.
Ramos' words may have been prompted by the fact that CR7 has only been able to score 1 goal in La Liga, with the Portuguese having the lowest conversion rate in the competition after scoring one of 48 shots taken in the Spanish top flight.

In the same press conference, Ramos spoke about the constant rumors linking Neymar to Los Blancos. Surprisingly enough, the Spanish center back would be glad to have the Brazilian ace around.
Ramos shares a word with Neymar during an awards ceremony.
"I'd sign Neymar with no questions asked. He's the kind of player that can change the outcome of any game. I'll keep the door open for him if he decides to join us this winter. The only thing left to negotiate are those permits to celebrate his sister's party," Ramos stated.
