The French tactician stepped up to deny concerns about his star's recent performances with the Spanish side.

One of the main concerns for French fans is none other than Antoine Griezmann's poor form. As of now, the talented footballer has only been able to score three goals in 13 games, and that fact hasn't been overlooked by fans and experts.

Today, coach Didier Deschamps analyzed the player's performances with his club, and blamed Atlético for causing Griezmann's dip in form.

"If it's him or any other player, it has to do more with how his team is playing. Atlético has been playing some less than convincing games lately, so there you have it," Deschamps stated.

The French striker has only scored twice in nine La Liga games.

Deschamps admitted that Griezmann may not be living his best moment as a striker, but remained hopeful that he will step out of his current slump shortly.

"Antoine is Antoine, he still owns all of his skills. He's not as decisive right now because of his current form, but I'm not particularly worried about it. He'll get back to his old self eventually," the French boss added.
