That result now sees Jose Mourinho's side five points behind league leaders Manchester City heading into this mouth-watering tie, which is the second big fixture for the Red Devils in recent weeks having already faced Liverpool a few rounds back.
Both Eric Bailly and Phil Jones could make their returns for this match, giving Mourinho a much needed boost in defense. However, Tottenham, who were dumped out of the Carabao Cup by West Ham, have been dealt a huge blow: Harry Kane is set to miss this game due to a hamstring injury. Kane has been in fantastic form for both club and country, notably netting a brace against Liverpool in a 4-1 demolition of the Reds last weekend and playing a vital role in firing England into the World Cup, and it goes without saying that the talismanic attacker will be sorely missed for the visitors in this titanic clash.

There has been even speculation surrounding his future with the club, but for now, the ex-Juventus man is still in charge, and will head to Bournemouth missing N'Golo Kante, Victor Moses, and new signing Danny Drinkwater (despite his making an appearance during the Carabao Cup).
With a crucial Champions League tie coming up, Conte will also have to decide if he needs to do some rotation for this game. Chelsea were shocked to drop points last time out as Roma managed to somehow battle to earn a 3-3 draw, and they certainly will not want to end up on the wrong end of a score-line at the Stadio Olimpico next week. As for Bournemouth, the Cherries are unbeaten in their last two games at home, but have won just two games all season and thus are mired in the relegation zone.
