The Portuguese boss slammed the press for fabricating rumors about his future as a boss.

Jose Mourinho dismissed rumors about leaving Manchester United to join PSG, but he couldn't guarantee he would stay at Old Trafford beyond the end of his current deal.

Speaking in the pre-match press conference for tomorrow's UCL clash facing Benfica, Mourinho spoke about the rumors linking him to a move to the French capital. He took the opportunity to deny such claims and aim a dig at the press while at it.

"I think you English media have the answer for that because in one day it says I am going to sign a five year contract worth £1billion per season and then the next day you say that I am leaving and going to PSG - I think that is the answer," Mourinho replied.

"The answer is that nothing is happening; I am not signing a new five year contract and I am not leaving for PSG. I am at Man United and that is it. I have a contract I don't think there is an answer for that," he added.

The Special One added he couldn't assure he'd end his career with the Red Devils because modern football doesn't allow it. While making his case, he referred to one of his bitter rivals.

"I am not going to end my career at Manchester United and I ask how is it possible in modern football that a manager is going to last 15 or 20 years. I think Wenger is the last one, it is impossible for us, to last for so long, if in this moment I want to finish my career in four or five years my ambition would be to end my career at Manchester United," Mourinho analyzed.

The Portuguese boss didn't want to leave the press conference without being absolutely clear on this matter, especially to avoid rumors that could complicate the team's successful run this season.

"I don't think I'm going to end my career at Manchester United, after that people try to be clever, malicious. I didn't think about signing a new contract, but I don't think about leaving too. I have my contract that ends in May or June 2019," the coach concluded.
