As this is the first game after the recent international break, injury worries were inevitable. With Zidane’s men returning from their national sides, the Frenchman has a few fitness worries.

Keylor Navas is one big absentee for the Madrid giants. The Costa Rican goalkeeper suffered a thigh muscle injury during the international break and could thus miss this and the next game.

Dani Carvajal is also out due to fitness. He will join Mateo Kovacic on the sidelines for Saturday’s trip to Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

Gareth Bale is also injured. A knock picked up in the Champions League triumph over Borussia Dortmund kept him out of the recent World Cup qualifiers, with this weekend game coming too soon.
