Matchday five of African WCQs will kick off on Friday, October 6th with Mali vs Côte d'Ivoire. LiveSoccerTV.com provides info to catch all of the games taking place as numerous teams hope to book their tickets for next year's tournament.

Unlike some of the other federations, no African side have booked their tickets at the upcoming World Cup just yet.

However, that could all change over the next couple of days, with some teams, like Nigeria, boasting strong leads over the rest of the other sides in their quartets.

Here's all the fixtures taking place across Africa over the next few days.

Rankings

Here's how things look in all the groups ahead of the matches to be played on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday:

GROUP A

With Guinea and Libya already eliminated, it's a straight battle between DR Congo and Tunisia for the only automatic spot at next year's World Cup.

KEY FIXTURES - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7th:

Guinea vs Tunisia - 10:00 PST/13:00 EST/17:00 GMT

Libya vs Congo DR - 10:00 PST/13:00 EST/17:00 GMT

GROUP B

Reigning AFCON champs Cameroon, as well as Algeria had a shockingly bad qualification tournament and thus are already eliminated. Nigeria are the heavy favorites to qualify, but Zambia will hope to push things till the final matchday as they take on the Super Eagles on Saturday.

KEY FIXTURES - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7th:

Nigeria vs Zambia - 09:00 PST/12:00 EST/16:00 GMT

GROUP C

All four sides in Group C are still very much alive, meaning that things could get very interesting over the next two matchdays. Ivory Coast of course, lead the pack but Morocco and Gabon are still in it, and even Mali still have hopes at catching up should they win their next two games - and the others ahead of them start dropping points. Their revival, however, will have to start with them beating the Ivory Coast on Friday.

KEY FIXTURES - FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6th:

Mali vs Côte d'Ivoire - 12:00 PST/15:00 EST/19:00 GMT

KEY FIXTURES - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7th:

Morocco vs Gabon -  12:00 PST/15:00 EST/19:00 GMT

GROUP D

Just as in Group C, everyone still has a shot, although South Africa's path to the World Cup is a very narrow one. Realistically, it's a battle between Senegal, Burkina Faso, and Cape Verde, with Cape Verde and Senegal locking horns on Saturday in a crunch clash for both sides.

KEY FIXTURES - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7th:

South Africa vs Burkina Faso - 06:00 PST/09:00 EST/13:00 GMT

Cape Verde Islands vs Senegal - 10:30 PST/13:30 EST/17:30 GMT

GROUP E

After a bad start, Ghana finally seemed to turn a corner as they crushed Congo 5-1 thanks to a Thomas Partey hat-trick. But is it too little, too late for the Black Stars? As things stand, Egypt are in pole position to snatch the only automatic spot in this group, with Uganda not too far behind.

In short, Ghana must win their next two games, starting with a crucial clash with Uganda on Saturday, whilst Egypt take on an already eliminated Congo on Sunday.

Uganda vs Ghana - 06:00 PST/09:00 EST/13:00 GMT
