PSG's formidable attack will represent stern test for Celtic

Les Parisiens have spent big in a quest not just to reclaim the Ligue 1 title but to conquer Europe. So far, Unai Emery's side have won all five of their Ligue 1 games, including a recent 5-1 hammering of Metz that saw Kylian Mbappe grab his debut goal. Alongside Neymar and Edinson Cavani, PSG are now hoping to have one of the strongest attacks in Europe as they aim to finally get their hands on the one trophy that keeps eluding them - the Champions League.

PSG are expected to qualify from this group, but certainly the memory of their humiliating exit at the hands of Barcelona will still be fresh in many fans' minds. With a strong record against Scottish clubs - they're unbeaten in their last six - coupled with Celtic's disappointing record overall as of late in this competition, it goes without saying that the visitors are the overwhelming favorites to pick up all three points from this fixture.

Bayern aiming to rebound after surprise loss at the weekend

Bayern Munich come into this game having lost 2-0 to Hoffenheim on Saturday. This was a surprising result as prior to this, die Roten had an excellent track record agianst their opponents, losing just one in their past 19 meetings (albeit that was as recently as this past April). More important, it marks the first Bundesliga defeat by more than a goal since 2015.

The hosts will be missing Arturo Vidal due to suspension after the Chilean was sent off during Bayern's loss to Real Madrid last term. Die Roten have struggled in this competition since winning it in 2013 and have been knocked out in the latter stages since then by Spanish opposition for the past four seasons; however, in this quartet, they are arguably expected to progress to the knockout rounds alongside PSG.

Meanwhile, Anderlecht have had a rather indifferent start to the season, with two losses, two draws, and two wins in their first six games. Les Mauves et Blanc are making their 12th appearance in the Champions League group stages and will be hoping to stage an unlikely upset in a very tough quartet that also includes Scottish champions Celtic.
