The game between Manchester City and Liverpool will never be forgotten by Ederson Moraes, especially because of the horrific tackle which forced him to leave the pitch.
In a couple of pictures that have circulated on social media, the player showed off the stitches left by Sadio Mane's boot on his left cheek.
With a swollen cheekbone, stitches can be seen close to his left eye and ear. Fortunately for him, he will be able to return to the pitch after the stitches have been removed.

Later, another picture was leaked on social media, showing all the stitches required to keep the player's skin as one (WARNING: Some viewers might find this pic disturbing)
Later that day, Mane apologized on social media, referring to his clash with Ederson as "an accident".
