Mexico leads the pack, and one more win for El Tri could give them the ticket for the 2018 World Cup.

Matchday 7 in the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers will give fans some top-notch clashes, with all the teams still fighting for a spot in next year's World Cup.

After six games for all teams involved, Mexico is still unbeaten and seem to be in prime position to win their ticket, but any slip-ups could see El Tri complicate things for themselves with a rising USMNT squad and the tough Costa Rican side.

Here are the standings after six matches.

USA vs Costa Rica

One of the stellar matches of the entire WC Qualifying process in CONCACAF is set to take place at Red Bull Arena. The USMNT jeopardize their unbeaten streak under Bruce Arena against the combative Costa Rica, a team that won't have Keylor Navas around as per coach Oscar Ramirez's decision.

Trinidad & Tobago vs Honduras

The worst teams in CONCACAF's Final Round face each other with nothing but victory on their minds. A defeat against the Soca Warriors could mean the end of Jorge Luis Pinto's stint as Honduras' coach, especially because of the poor results achieved in these games and in his two Gold Cup appearances with Los Catrachos.

Mexico vs Panama

Mexico's playing style under Juan Carlos Osorio might have been questioned by fans and local experts, but it has surely proven to be effective. If El Tri wins this Friday, they will earn their spot in the 2018 World Cup with three matchdays to go, something they haven't been able to do in 20 years. Odds seem to be in their favor, as they have never lost a WC Qualifying match in any venue against Panamá.
