Reports from Brazilian sources suggest that the PSG superstar has given the Liverpool player an inside look at what he could expect at Camp Nou.

If Barcelona's final attempts to lure Philippe Coutinho away from Liverpool fail, the team's supporters might have to thank Neymar for his "input" on the matter.

The former Barça ace and the Liverpool midfielder share a strong relationship, and for most of the time Neymar played at Camp Nou, he tried to make his friend join him with the Blaugrana outfit. Today, things have taken an ugly turn...for Barcelona.

According to a report by Brazilian newspaper Estadao, a private conversation between Neymar and Coutinho ended with some unflattering words from the most expensive player in the world, stating that Coutinho "wouldn't regret Liverpool's decision to keep him away from Barcelona".

Neymar's words come as no surprise, especially after the player's departure from Spanish soil. The feud between himself and his former club has led both parties to file lawsuits against each other due to unpaid fees from Neymar (€8.5M) and the club (€26M).

Liverpool have rejected three offers from Barcelona to sign Coutinho. It remains to be seen if the club can stand yet another offensive from the Spanish side, desperate to add talent to their squad in their quest to recover La Liga's title and the UEFA Champions League, both in possession of their bitter rivals, Real Madrid.
