On Sunday, Arsenal will walk onto Anfield with the goal of registering their first away win of the season. Having lost 1-0 at Stoke in Matchday 2, the Gunners must now win at a Liverpool side that fare well against their top six rivals.
As if the odds were not already against the north London outfit, Wenger did not do them any favors by naming a surprise starting eleven. Le Prof raised a few eyebrows with his lineup and send Gooners into a meltdown.

The first big decision to shock Arsenal fans was the benching of Alexandre Lacazette. Despite being their record signing and a prolific goalscorer, there was no room in Wenger’s starting eleven for the French forward.
What made it even harder to believe is that Lacazette missed out on the starting berth in favor of Danny Welbeck. The clumsy forward’s wastefulness in front of goal against Stoke cost Arsenal dearly but was rewarded with another start.
The next decision to leave fans flabbergasted was dropping Sead Kolašinac. The Bosnian was dreadful in last week’s defeat, but remains a talented defender. Furthermore, supporters were upset to see him lose out to the Ox – the contract rebel who could leave for free next summer.
Were Arsenal’s only two summer signings struggling for fitness? Did something in training cause Le Prof to bench them both? Arsenal fans were mad and thus vented their frustration on Twitter. Check out the best tweets.
Maybe Arsene has a masterplan. But if it goes wrong, dropping Lacazette & Kolasinac will surely be held against him.

Lol I don't understand how Welbeck starts over Lacazette, it's like Wenger is doing this just to spite fans.

Ox at wing back, no Kolasinac or Lacazette. I'm done. Hoping for the best, fearing the worst. Luckily, I'm missing the game...

Lacazette and Kolasinac being dropped for a must win game is laughable

We are not winning this
Not a chance
More than Lacazette I'm really wondering why Kolasinac isn't in ahead of Bellerin.

I'm not there to see training sessions but I'd love to know what Welbeck does to start ahead of Lacazette & Kolasinac to be benched.

Why did we sign Kolasinic? #wengerout
