The Argentine ace had a complicated first half at Mendizorroza, but his second half brace saw him reach a couple of records.

Lionel Messi's goal scoring record keep pouring in, and it seems that his numbers when he calls it quits will be more than impressive.

"La Pulga" became first player in La Liga's history to score 350 goals with his brace against Alavés. A truly historical feat, as only two players in the world were able to do this previously: Gerd Muller (365) and Jimmy Greaves.

What makes Messi's feat more impressive is that he managed to do so with only one professional team.

It's been over 12 years since Messi's first goal.

Here's how the league's official Twitter feed celebrated Messi's record.
