The French striker scored Arsenal's final goal to cap an amazing comeback in the first EPL match of the season.

Even if Arsenal fans criticize his every move, Olivier Giroud has proven once again he is a clutch striker for the Gunners.

The French striker made the difference once again for Wenger's crew, 18 minutes after coming into the pitch. His header gave Arsenal the lead after a hectic match, which saw the Gunners come from behind twice in order to reach the win.

With his goal today, Giroud reached the 50-goal mark with the Gunners while playing at the Emirates. Although he is still far from being the best, he only has two more players to surpass before becoming the all-time goal scorer in this venue.

If that goal isn't enough to silence his haters, here's another stat that will leave Arsenal fans thinking about how unfair they've been with the French footballer.

Giroud needs only one more goal to reach the 100-goal mark with the Gunners in all competitions.
