The Colombian tactician had to be escorted out of the airport to prevent further action from several Mexican fans eager to voice their disappointment.

Mexican fans got a bit carried away with rage, as they welcomed Colombian coach Juan Carlos Osorio with a series of insults and jeers demanding his exit from El Tri.

Mexico lost the CONCACAF Gold Cup semi-final clash against Jamaica, capping a disappointing summer for El Tri, where they finished fourth in the FIFA Confederations Cup and missed out on the CONCACAF final by losing against the Reggae Boyz for the first time in this tournament's history.

Fueled by irresponsible comments by several Mexican journalists, who blame Osorio for all of El Tri's woes, fans voiced their discomfort over his controversial lineup changes and demanded him to leave the country in rude fashion.

Other fans, including little kids, made shirts and signs with the legend "sack Osorio".

The Mexican Football Federation has already stated that the Colombian boss will not be sacked for the moment, considering that his primary goal -qualifying for the World Cup- is on the verge of being accomplished.
