The Brazilian right back concluded his deal with Juventus a couple of weeks ago, and even if he was supposed to play in the EPL, another club got in the way.

After battling to see his contract with Juventus terminated in order to forward a move to Manchester City, it seems that the almighty cash will be one of the reasons for Dani Alves to set sail to another club.

According to a report by L'Equipe TV, the Brazilian right back will forfeit his chance to rejoin Pep Guardiola in the EPL to sign a lucrative contract with Paris Saint Germain. Sources close to the negotiation admit that Alves' primary intention was to join the English team, but PSG's offer was hard to ignore.

The former Juventus right back had one more year left in his contract with La Vecchia Signora, but he decided to push for an early exit as soon as he found out that Pep Guardiola wanted him to boost Man City's defense.

Alves won the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia with Juventus last season, missing out on the treble after being hammered by Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final.

PSG will also make a move to sign Liverpool's Phillippe Coutinho in the upcoming weeks, with the intention of recovering the Ligue 1 title they lost against Monaco last season.
