Bild claims to have the unseen report which details the £1.57m payment made to a FIFA official’s daughter.

Corruption in FIFA could soon return to the headlines despite the new regime’s attempts to clear their name, as Bild are set to release a leaked report into Qatar’s 2022 World Cup bid.

The German tabloid claims to have access to a report written by former independent ethics investigator Michael Garcia. Although the 42-page report which cleared Qatar of corruption is well known, Garcia’s original unedited 403-page report was never seen.

Garcia quit after his report was altered and filtered by world football’s governing body to become legally "legally appropriate”. Bild promises to publish the report on Tuesday.

The report details a £1.57m payment made to the daughter of a FIFA official. Furthermore, Bild suggests that three executive members were flown to Rio de Janeiro for a party on a Qatar FA plane prior to the World Cup hosting right vote.

Qatar sports organization The Aspire Academy has also been accused of manipulating FIFA members with voting rights for the 2022 finals. The controversies rocking Qatar’s 2022 tournament continues piling up.
