Diehard Man City fan Liam Gallagher is not satisfied with Pep Guardiola's first season with the club, prompting immediate action if he can't win titles with the Sky Blues.

Apparently, one of Manchester City's most famous supporters doesn't want Pep Guardiola to "Live Forever" without giving the club more silverware.

Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, who is well-known for his love towards the club, demanded the Spanish boss to be sacked if he isn't able to bring the EPL trophy to the team's trophy case next season.

Speaking in an interview with French magazine So Foot, the 44-year old singer shared his views on Guardiola's first season as manager, while asking the team's owners to take action if the former Barcelona boss can't live up to the hype.

"It's absolutely necessary to win the title next season. We can't give it away to Chelsea once again. If we can't win a big trophy, then Pep Guardiola shouldn't be allowed to stay," Gallagher stated.

Gallagher went on and analyzed Guardiola's transfer business last season, criticizing his decision to part ways with Joe Hart.

"Sure, he wasn't the best goalkeeper out there, but he could have stayed for one more season. Added to Kompany's absence for most of last season, we ended up lacking leadership in defense," the songwriter added.

The former Oasis singer, along with his estranged brother Noel, used to watch games live at the Etihad whenever his touring agenda allows him to. But contrary to some old school supporters, the English singer revealed he is quite happy with the team's current administration, as it was really hard to support the Citizens when he was growing up.

"I was born in 1972, and let me tell you that this was a sh***y club in the '70s and '80s. I'm really happy they bought the club. It's nice to be a team that has money to spend," Gallagher concluded.
