Reigning World Cup champions Germany will be hoping to become only the third team (after Italy and Brazil) in history to successfully defend their world title next year in Russia. However, Germany's squad is missing quite a few familiar faces. There's no room for Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller, nor his club colleague Mats Hummels. Another notable absentee is Arsenal's Mesut Ozil, whilst Manuel Neuer is out due to injury.
