Here's everything you need to know about the Champions League final squad for Saturday's showdown in Cardiff

Saturday is here, meaning only hours remain before the Champions League final kicks off. Juventus and Real Madrid will battle it out in Cardiff in the National Stadium of Wales, as the Italian giants look to stop Los Blancos from winning back-to-back titles.

Allegri’s side looks to put an end to the Bianconeri’s 21-year wait for the title and is eying the treble. However, Les Merengues is the tournament’s most successful club and thus have the advantage. Check out the team news.

Juventus squad

With Dani Alves, their rock-solid BBC – Bonucci, Barzagli, Chiellini – trio, and Gianluigi Buffon; Juventus has a squad that can overcome Real Madrid. Furthermore, Juventus has several players who know their opponent very well.

The first is Alves, a man who has come across – winning on some instances and losing on others – Cristiano Ronaldo during his Barca days. The Brazilian stated ahead of kick-off that he is ready to face his former foe.

Additionally, the Bianconeri have two former Real Madrid players in the form of Gonzalo Higuain and Sami Khedira – the latter helping them win La Decima. The Argentine and German are both tipped to start in the final.

25-man squad: Juventus yet to announce

Real Madrid squad

Real Madrid’s two biggest fears were the fitness of Gareth Bale and Dani Carvajal. Both are fit and available to play, but only one will likely start.

The Welshman has not featured since El Clasico, and given the form of Isco, the second most expensive player will likely start on the bench. Carvajal, however, will likely start given the inconsistency of Danilo.
