The Welshman is looking to win a third UEFA Champions League title with Los Blancos while playing at home.

There have been endless debates in the Spanish capital about which player should be chosen by Zinedine Zidane on Saturday. Well, one of those players involved in the discussion has stepped up and admitted he's still fighting to find his fitness level back.

Speaking after Real Madrid's training session, Welsh superstar Gareth Bale hinted that he wouldn't be the best option to begin the game against Juventus, considering he hasn't played since El Clásico on April 23.

"I am not 100 percent, I haven't played for six or seven weeks. I haven't played a lot of football this year since my operation, so that would be difficult (playing 90 minutes)," Bale stated.

In fact, the Welsh ace revealed he'd been taking medication to help ease his pain prior to undergoing surgery.

"I have been playing with a lot of pain, even when I came back I was taking tablets to get through games and training. The last six or seven weeks have enabled me to rest my ankle a bit and really try to get it a bit better, and obviously recover from the injury which it caused," Bale added.

Showing how he really wants the team to perform at their highest level, Bale revealed that he wouldn't have a problem if Isco gets the starting nod ahead of him, as long as Los Blancos walk away with "La Duodécima".

"The last few weeks he has been playing very well, so I am happy for him and he has helped the team enormously at the end of the season. Whether he or I start we will both be cheering each other on and hoping the team win," Bale concluded.
