The Monaco sensation is reportedly on the 11-time Champions League winners' radar.

With Bernardo Silva already snapped up, it will come as no shock if more Monaco stars are signed by Europe’s elite clubs over the summer. One man linked with a move away from the Ligue 1 champions is Kylian Mbappe.

The French teenager racked up rave review en route to the league title, helping his team reach the Champions League semi-final as well. However, with interest from Real Madrid, the 18-year-old could be moving on soon.

Mbappe gave an interview to Eurosport France in which he discussed an array of topics. One of them was his football idol when growing up.

Not surprisingly, the Monaco forward named Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane as the player he revered most. Mbappe claims that although he has idolized numerous players, his first love was the World Cup winner.

"The one who made me love football was Zidane. Afterwards I developed several idols but really Zidane was my very first idol,” Mbappe told Eurosport.

Monaco want a fee in excess of the world record. Whether the Champions League holders will meet that demand remains unknown.

Mbappe, who feels Buffon deserves this year’s Ballon d’Or, also brushed aside comparison between himself and Thierry Henry.
