The French manager's contract ends this summer, but is yet to confirm whether he will stay or go.

There are so many uncertainties surrounding Arsenal for next season. Will the club be playing in the Champions League or Europa League? Will Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil remain at the Emirates? The biggest one, however, surrounds Arsene Wenger’s future.

The Frenchman’s contract with the Gunners ends this month, but protests from the fans demanding Le Prof leaves have taken a toll on the club and its manager. Reports claim the long-serving manager will extend his stay for possibly another season, but the 67-year-old remains tight-lipped for now.

Speaking ahead of their final game of the season – a home clash with Everton – Wenger was asked once again about his future. One journalist inquired during a pre-match press conference for Sunday’s game whether the Everton clash will be Arsene’s last game at the Emirates.

Wenger’s response: "I cannot tell you that. Of the season, yes.”

He added: "The most important for us is to win the football game we play on Sunday. After that, what happens to me is less important. I’m here to serve the club and the best way to do that is to win the next game.”

The Arsenal boss then confirmed that a meeting with the board will be held after the FA Cup final clash with Chelsea. The Frenchman revealed that his future will be decided in that meeting, with a confirmation expected a few days later.

According to the Telegraph, the Gunners have been looking into candidates for a new director of football position, one that Wenger was against. However, Le Prof’s resistance has since eased.
