There were also impressive feats set by Liverpool and Alexis Sanchez over the weekend.

With only a few games remaining before the season ends, there is no title to play for. Chelsea were crowned Premier League champions on Friday after their 1-0 victory over West Brom, but the top four race will only be decided on the final day.

Tottenham, who won their final game at White Hart Lane, are guaranteed a spot in the Champions League, leaving only leaving two spots left for Liverpool, Man City, and Arsenal. The Gunners sit in the fifth but could qualify should their rivals slip up.

Here are a few interesting stats from the recent round.

Tottenham set a record in their final White Hart Lane game

In the clash with Man United, Tottenham played their final game at White Hart Lane before their move to a new stadium next season. Spurs bid farewell to their iconic ground by beating Man United 2-1.

That victory saw the north London giants set a record. This was the first time in the Premier League era that Spurs went undefeated at home for an entire season, a feat they have not achieved since 1964/65.

Alexis Sanchez is the league’s best goal contributor

On  Saturday, Alexis Sanchez scored and set up another goal in Arsenal’s 4-1 win over Stoke City. That win was crucial as it kept their top-four hopes until the final matchday.

It was also a good day for the Chilean as it saw him reach a personal record. He became the first player this season to reach double figures in goals (20) and assists (10).

Liverpool reach impressive feat with West Ham win

Liverpool may no longer be England’s most successful club, but they have one advantage over bitter rivals Man United. After beating West Ham 4-0, the Reds became the first team to win at 52 different stadiums.

Who scored this season’s 1000th goal?

That feat went to Patrick van Aanholt.
