Antonio Conte on cusp of celebrating first ever Premier League title

West Brom

The hosts come into this game having lost their past three home games. In addition, the Baggies are winless in their past six. However, they did manage to end their goalless drought by recording a 2-2 draw against Burnley. Despite this bad run of results, West Brom still manage to sit in the top half of the table. Given that this will be their final home match of the season, the Baggies, who are in 8th place, will want to try to put on a good show for their fans. Furthermore, Chelsea have struggled as of late at The Hawthorns and certainly, Tony Pulis's side will want to try to delay their title celebrations for as long as possible.

Chelsea

Meanwhile, having won three titles with Juventus, Antonio Conte is on the cusp of clinching his first ever Premier League title. The former Juve midfielder is set to become only the fourth Italian tactician to conquer the Premier League, after Carlo Ancelotti, Roberto Mancini, and most recently, Claudio Ranieri. The visitors come into this game having earned a resounding 3-0 win over relegation candidates Middlesbrough and thanks to Tottenham's shock loss, are seven points ahead of their cross-town rivals.

Simply put, a win will earn the Blues the league title. It has been a remarkable turnaround after last season's disaster, that saw them barely crack the top half of the table, and now, they are set to make a return to the Champions League. In terms of personnel, only N'Golo Kante is in doubt for this fixture, but having missed out during the Middlesbrough game, the French international is expected to feature here. Interestingly enough, having won the league title with Leicester last term, Kante is now set to make it back-to-back league titles - albeit with different teams!
