The Portuguese ace will miss a fourth straight away game in La Liga, following his absences against Leganés, Sporting Gijón and Deportivo.

Zinedine Zidane has decided to give Cristiano Ronaldo one more off day, as the Portuguese player won't make the trip to face Granada on Saturday for a number of reasons.

The French boss will not have his top scorer facing an already relegated side, considering that he needs him in top physical condition entering the final stage of the season. Furthermore, Cristiano Ronaldo is one booking away from having to serve a one match ban. If he ends up picking one more yellow card this Saturday, he wouldn't be able to perform against Sevilla, in what some see as the crucial match for Real Madrid to win La Liga.

Curiously enough, CR7 has only played La Liga games taking place at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium for the past seven weeks. His last away game came on March 18, when he helped Los Blancos beat Athletic Club at the new San Mamés Stadium with two assists.

Other players that are one booking away from being banned are Isco and Nacho. Nevertheless, both seem to be in line to play against Los Nazaríes.
