The Argentinean ace also revealed that Guti asked him for his jersey twice in the same season, prior to the Spaniard's departure to Turkish football.

Players from around the world are always looking to swap jerseys with Lionel Messi. Some of them even fight between themselves to have the Argentinean's shirt as part of their collection, but even if Barcelona's ace usually agrees to share his jerseys with his colleague, he went on to reveal the only player he's ever asked for his playing shirt.

Speaking in an interview with Spanish outlet Invictos, "La Pulga" shared his views on shirt-swapping, adding the name of the "lucky one" who had the honor of being asked by Messi to exchange jerseys.

"I'm not really into it, maybe because I'm shy. If there's an Argentinean on the pitch, I exchange my jersey with him. If not, I'll wait for others to ask me. When I got my start in professional football, I asked one player. I asked Zidane for his jersey," Messi stated.

Messi and Zidane, during the Frenchman's final games with Los Blancos in the 2005-2006 season.

Later in the interview, Messi revealed that a die-hard Madridista asked him for his jersey twice during the same season. That Real Madrid player was none other than Guti, who uses his Twitter feed to blast Barcelona's players while supporting all things Real Madrid's footballers say or do.

"Guti came and asked me for it, during both Clásicos (at Camp Nou and at the Bernabeu). I had no problem in doing so, he always spoke good things about me," the player added.

Well, there you have it. Not even Lionel Messi had problems exchanging jerseys with any of Los Blancos' footballers...
