There is always the brighter side of anything negative, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic's latest absence proves it.

Manchester United play rivals City at the Etihad later today in what is famously known as the Manchester Derby. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss this clash due to a horror knee injury he suffered against Anderlecht last Thursday in the Europa League.

But statistics show that his absence, although bitter to swallow, could be a blessing in disguise for the red devils. Mourinho's men have not lost in any of their four league games they have played without the former PSG man.

Another factor is the rise of Anthony Martial, who has been living under Zlatan's shadow this season. The French star has been hugely dissappointing this season since Zlatan's arrival, having managed only eight goals in 34 appearances in all competitions, compared to the 18 he scored last season in 54 appearances.

And as the Swede cools his heels for the rest of the season, this could be the perfect opportunity for Martial to prove to the fans that he is still the future of Man Utd.
