The Polish striker missed the first-leg, but is back to give the Bundesliga giants “more belief”.

Bayern Munich fans were praying to have Robert Lewandowski fit and back in the squad in time for the second-leg tie of their Real Madrid clash. The Polish forward missed the first game due to a shoulder injury, watching on as the German giants lost 2-1 at home.

The prayers have been answered, as Carlo Ancelotti revealed in a pre-match press conference that Lewandowski has recovered and will feature in the Bernabeu meeting. Whether he will start or come off the bench was not clarified.
