The Colombian forward salvaged a point for the Rossoneri in Saturday's epic Serie A clash.

On Saturday, Inter Milan and AC Milan locked horns in the always heated Milan derby. These two sides occupied seventh and sixth spot, respectively, meaning a win would have done wonders for any side.

Victory was almost achieved by the Nerezzurri. Inter were leading 2-0 heading into the break, with Candreva and Icardi finding the back of the net.

Unfortunately for Stefano Pioli’s crew, the crumbled in the last ten minutes to settle for a 2-2 draw. First, Alessio Romagnoli scored to hand the Rossoneri a lifeline.

What followed next was unforgettable. With the game in the 97th minute, AC Milan managed to salvage a point by scoring with the last touch of the game.

Cristian Zapata converted from a corner kick, but needed goal-line technology to confirm his name on the score sheet. The goal left Inter fans heartbroken, as they expected to go five-point clear of their bitter rivals.

That strike left Milan fans in emphatic mood. It also saw Zapata set a goalscoring feat in the Milan Derby. The Colombian forward became the first player since Kaka in 2006 to score after the 90th minute.
