Marc Bartra is recovering well after a successful wrist surgery, the player has revealed.

Borussia Dortmund center-back Marc Bartra has provided an update on Instagram after undergoing a successful wrist surgery. The Spaniard was injured in an explosion targeting his team's bus on its way to the Signal Iduna Park to play AS Monaco in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. 

Broken glass and debris from the bus damaged his wrist, and had to be rushed to hospital for surgery according to Borussia Dortmund. But the former Barcelona man is now feeling better. He posted the following message on Instagram;

Meanwhile, the Bundesliga giants take on their Ligue 1 counterparts later today after the match scheduled for yesterday was cancelled following the explosion.
