Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has aired his thoughts on the finals of this year's UEFA Champions League. The Spaniard was speaking ahead of their clash with German giants Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
In an interview with Universo Valdano (via Marca), Ramos revealed that the winner of the Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid tie could make it all the way to the finals of the competition this year. The two-time Champions League winner said:
"I think that whoever wins this tie can certainly go on to become a Champions League finalist. It will be a very complicated match against an opponent we know very well. The arrival of Ancelotti has worked well and he is implanting his style on the players. We are going to try to score in Germany.''
The central defender is one of the most decorated Real Madrid players of the current generation. He has won La Liga, Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup during the 12 years he has been with Los Blancos.
