Despite Harry Kane starting on the bench, the north London outfit brushed aside their opponent with ease.

Tottenham are one of England’s most in-form sides at the moment. Currently second in the league, Spurs are the only side who looks capable of keeping pace with Chelsea in the title race.

On Saturday, the north London outfit hosted Watford with top-scorer Harry Kane missing out on the starting eleven. The Englishman recovered from an injury in time for the weekend game, but could only make the bech.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men did not need the Three Lions ace. He was introduced in the second half, but the hosts were already 4-0 up by that time.

The goalscoring started with Dele Alli, the hotshot 20-year-old midfielder being watched by Europe’s biggest clubs. He scored a lovely goal after 33 minutes to kick-off the goal fest.

That goal saw him reach an impressive goalscoring feat. His 16th of the season, he is now the highest-scoring U21 player in Europe’s top five leagues this season.

After the opener, Eric Dier etched his name onto the score sheet. That was then followed by a Heung-min Son brace. The South Korean’s two-goal means Tottenham are the first Premier League club to have three goalscorers in double figures – Kane (19), Alli (16), and Son (11).
