The star midfielder picked up the injury in USMNT's 6-0 demolition of Honduras last week.

La Galaxy midfielder Sebastian Lletget is set to undergo a surgery that will keep him out of action for four to six months, the club has confirmed. In a statement released on the club's official website, it was revealed that the player sustained a Lisfranc injury last Friday when USMNT hosted Honduras for their 2018 World Cup qualifier.

The injury was first believed to be a foot strain but further medical examinations discovered that he needed surgery. The 24-year-old is among USMNT players who have been dropped from Bruce Arena's squad due to injury as the country prepares to face Panama later today for their World Cup qualifier.
