Football legends are keen on re-living their glory days, and fans can't seem to get enough of those matches. Hence, Liverpool and Real Madrid have agreed to showcase some of the finest players in history to play a charity match at Anfield on Saturday.
This game will also give fans the chance to witness Steven Gerrard's return to the legendary stadium. "Stevie G" played his last match at Anfield on May of 2015 before embarking in his MLS adventure with the LA Galaxy. If that wasn't enough to get Reds' fans fired up, household names like Robbie Fowler (captain), Ian Rush, Jamie Carragher, Michael Owen and Jerzy Dudek have been confirmed for this match.
Real Madrid's legends are known around the world for putting up quite a show wherever they show their faces. This time, Los Blancos will travel to Anfield with a squad that includes names such as Luis Figo, Michel Salgado, Guti, Fernando Morientes, Emilio Butragueño and captain Roberto Carlos.
