The Stars and Stripes will play in Nashville, Tampa and Cleveland, while El Tri will play their first three games in San Diego, Denver and San Antonio

The 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup edition will be held this summer, with Mexico and the USMNT looking to extend their dominance in the region while trying to win half a ticket for the 2021 Confederations Cup.

No team other than El Tri and the Stars and Stripes has been able to win the tournament since the 2000 edition, and this time, both teams will have to show their credentials to win the competition right from the start.

Group A of the competition could be considered as the Group of Death, as Costa Rica, Honduras and Canada will fight for a spot in the next round.

Group B will have the hosts facing Panama, a team that has shown amazing growth in the region, and handed the Stars & Stripes a penalty-kick loss during the 2015 edition of the tournament.

Finally, Mexico will be paired up in the same group as Jamaica. These teams played against each other in the 2015 Gold Cup final, where Mexico prevailed with a 3-1 scoreline.
